The pic was taken toward City Hall direction. It means I just passed Orchard Rd. and The Cathay (which just renovated). Going forward, I will have Rendezvous Hotel on my left hand side, YMCA and National Museum of Singapore on my right hand side.
One thing changed is that no more open space between Rendezvous Hotel and YMCA & the Museum; Singapore Management University is there now (all the way up to the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd in the opposite of Chijmes), and there will be a MRT Circle Line station as well.

l know this place. Frequent walker on it's pavement many many many years ago. There is a Cathay and a Museum at it's intersection, still there?
